Affordable Dental Care in Prosper

One of the top reasons that people all across America put off their dental care is because they think there are enormous costs. While there are dental procedures that can be costly, the majority of dental work comes in the form of routine dental cleanings and exams. No matter what type of dental work you need, there are always financing options and many different ways to pay. With oral hygiene being linked to so many other areas of your overall health, you shouldn’t let the smaller costs deter you from getting your routine cleanings and preventative dentistry.

Payment Options for Your Dental Care

At Prosper and Smile Dental Care, we know that many people have strict budgets, even when it comes to their health and dental care. That’s why we’ve ensured that we have multiple payment options for all of our patients, even ones that don’t have dental insurance.

Unfortunately, dental insurance is almost always an optional addition to your health insurance, giving you another increased cost. Here are the payment methods that we offer:

  • Insurance: if our office accepts your dental insurance, you will only be responsible for your estimated portion of fees (typically called your deductible).
  • Cash or Debit/Credit: Our office accepts cash, check, and debit/credit cards.
  • CareCredit: We are pleased to say that we accept the CareCredit card as a form of payment.
  • Payment Plans: We’ll work with you to determine an affordable short or long-term payment plan that fits your budget.
  • Prosper and Smile Yearly Benefits Plan: Sign up for an annual membership and remove the stress of paying for routine dental work.

Paying With Dental Insurance

We are able to accept most major dental insurance plans, but you will need to contact our office to verify your insurance. Once we have verified that your insurance is among our accepted providers, we’ll be able to discuss your coverage with you and have a better understanding of your deductibles. This gives you a clearer picture of what fee you will have to pay for your visits, if you even have to pay a fee at all (it depends on your insurance plan).

Paying With Cash or Card

Even if you have dental insurance, you usually have a small deductible to pay at the time of your visits. This deductible can be paid with cash, check, or a debit or credit card. But even if you don’t have dental insurance, you are still able to pay with cash, check, or card. However, you will be required to pay the full amount for your visit at the time of arrival unless you opt for a payment plan (more on those below).

CareCredit: The Credit Card for Health

The CareCredit Card is a special medical credit card used for authorized purchases that have to do with health, including dental care. This credit card gives patients the ability to pay for healthcare expenses while also offering flexible promotional financing options. Additionally, the CareCredit Card can be used for both your dental care and your regular healthcare. It doesn’t matter where you use your CareCredit Card so long as the card is accepted by the care provider.

Payment Plans for Dental Care

Is your budget a little tight at the moment, making it difficult to pay the full amount for your dental care up front? At Prosper and Smile Dental Care, we believe that all patients should have access to affordable dental care. While we offer short-term, interest-free payment plans, we also have long-term financing plans available that have low monthly payments. If you need to pay with a payment plan, please let us know beforehand so that we can discuss the best options for you!

Prosper and Smile Yearly Benefits Plan

To coincide with our commitment to providing affordable dental care to everyone, we have yearly benefits plans specifically for Prosper and Smile Dental Care. We have two plans available: one tailored for children 18 years of age and under, and one tailored for adults. You’ll make a one-time payment for the whole year, which gives you:

  • 2 dental examinations
  • 1 emergency visit
  • 2 routine dental cleanings (excluding deep cleaning)
  • Any radiographs necessary for diagnosis
  • 20% off other dental treatment

The yearly benefits plan gives you peace of mind that your routine dental care is taken care of, and in the case of a sudden emergency, you don’t have to stress about the cost. Plus, you don’t have to worry about deductibles or yearly maximums from insurance, nor do you have to wait for pre-authorizations or denied coverage. You simply pay and get your treatment!
